Nicole Jacobs • 7/16/2017 Today I will be reviewing a fiction novel with the hopes of showing the importance of standing with Christ in the most difficult of times in you life, and to show the importance of speaking up against those who purposely hurt you rather then staying silent playing the victim role. The title for the book is Indigo's Struggle. In connection to silence, indigo herself struggles with speaking up for herself. She instead for most of the book allows others to dictate how her day is going to, how her high school and even junior high school experience is going to go and even how her life is ran. Indigo grows up with a mom who does not like to talk about how things make her feel or express her emotions and no dad. Her mom hides her feelings of hurt and finds things to distract her instead, in turn Indigo internalizes this same behavior and it gets her into a world of trouble. Silence is what keeps this stor...
